Chris Zubak-Skees joined the Center for Public Integrity in 2013 as a news developer. Today, he analyzes data, writes code and does original design as the Center’s data editor. His work at the Center has won Loeb, Meyer and Society for News Design awards. He designed and developed Emmy-nominated “Fatal Extraction” and contributed graphics to Pulitzer-winning “Breathless and Burdened.” He was formerly a reporting fellow at the Sunlight Foundation. Zubak-Skees is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in journalism and a minor in computer science.
