The Center for Public Integrity’s Board of Directors announced this week that the search for the organization’s next CEO is well underway.

The board has retained Sally Sterling Executive Search to assist in the process, working with a search committee composed of six members of the board.

More information about the search, and a job description the search committee unanimously approved for the new CEO, can be found by clicking here.

After leading the organization for nearly two years, former Public Integrity CEO Susan Smith Richardson announced in January that she would take on a new role this spring as deputy editor in chief of the Guardian U.S.

Kate Myers, former executive director of First Look Media, was named interim chief operating officer earlier this month, and will lead the organization along with Editor in Chief Matt DeRienzo while the search is conducted.
