<p>Traffic pollution spikes close to roads, <a href="https://publicintegrity.org/invisible-hazard-afflicting-thousands-schools">a health hazard</a> for nearby school students and anyonewho spends time in those areas.</p>
<p>Exposure increases the risk of problems, ranging from asthma attacks to heart disease. To find out if your school or another location of interest falls within 500 feet of a busy route (marked in red and orange), search below.</p>
