Lisa Yanick Litwiller is the director of audience for the Center for Public Integrity, previously serving in the same capacity for Hearst Community Newspapers. As Hearst Connecticut’s investigative systems editor in 2019, Lisa led a team of reporters in a six-month investigation of sexual abuse spanning decades connected to Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. That effort spurred safety policy change at the Boys & Girls Club of America and garnered several awards, including the New England First Amendment Coalition’s Michael Donoghue Freedom of Information Award and an Investigative Reporters and Editors award. A community journalist for decades, Lisa has been a photojournalist, a community engagement editor, a writer, an investigative reporter, a radio personality and a journalism instructor at her Alma Mater, Central Michigan University.
