Introduction

The Center for Public Integrity analyzed lobbying registration data from all 50 states from 2010 through 2014 to determine which companies, trade associations and other advocates had the widest lobbying presence in statehouses across the United States. Some of those entities changed their state lobbying strategy dramatically during that time. Below, see the top five entities lobbying in each state and sortable ratios of lobbying entities to legislators.
