New Yorker Margaret Mosunic is fighting a court battle to save her home of more than 40 years. She claims that she took out a $300,000 loan with terms that she didn’t understand from Emigrant Bank.

But the bank denies her allegation that she didn’t know in advance the amount of the loan. So who is to blame? Emigrant? Her mortgage broker? Or as the bank argues, Mosunic, who it says signed off on a loan with terms that were clearly stated.
